Fall 2024 Training Summit!!!

LETAC MTU#10 is hosting a two-day training summit that will focus on active shooter response and human performance under stress. The first day of the training will focus on the active shooter threat and provides information relating to the mindset of the attackers, environmental challenges related to response, probable outcomes, and the lessons learned from twenty active shooter responses. Day two centers on human performance under stress and presents current research which will assist in developing agency policy and training curriculum. This in-depth look at performance under stress also dispels some widely held beliefs that have driven training content for decades. The presentation also provides valuable insights regarding police use of force to provide a better understanding of emotions and brain functions in highly stressful situations.
